.HP’s ZGX line is aimed at teams that want to keep AI work local instead of relying only on the cloud. The ZGX Nano AI Station is the compact model in the family: HP says it can prototype, fine-tune, and infer models of up to 200B parameters locally, uses NVIDIA DGX OS and the NVIDIA AI software stack, and measures just 150 mm x 150 mm x 51 mm. HP also says two ZGX Nano systems can be connected with NVIDIA ConnectX networking to scale local compute for models up to 405B parameters.
For more demanding workloads, HP’s ZGX Fury is the higher-end AI Station. HP says it is powered by the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip with 748GB of coherent memory, and that it supports the full AI model lifecycle from fine-tuning and distillation to demanding inference. HP describes the ZGX family overall as scalable, high-density local performance for AI inference and fine-tuning.
That makes the ZGX family suitable for local model development, private data workflows, edge AI, and secure environments where keeping sensitive data on-prem is important. HP also offers a ZGX Nano variant for secure and regulated environments without Bluetooth or Wi-Fi radios.
